NEWS FROM TMCC | BAKING BLOG
Well to say it’s been a strange year is an understatement of the century!
Although it’s been trying for everyone and testing our mental health, it’s been a year of reassessing for me!
Obviously it was terrible for all families who were affected and for the NHS key workers. But, for my family and I we have fond memories. Never again will we have the opportunity to spend that much time with together, the laughs, the tears, a long hot summer, all sitting round the garden table eating dinner and chatting late into the night. Yes there were times when I had tantrums. Mainly, home educating my children and realising I really didn’t listen very much at school. Having said that I also learned so much, my children ended up educating me 🤣so for me I loved it.
It made me realise I don’t have to live my life at 90mph. I do have time to exercise (that was always my excuse, far too busy) I do have the ability to say no if I don’t want to work 7 days a week. It’s been a real eye opener.
As you can imagine my online sales went through the roof during both lockdowns as people had the time to learn a new skill and to further develop their existing skills. So many new students enjoying my online tutorials and producing stunning work. The emails I have received have been very humbling, thanking me for taking their business to the next level and for some, being so busy that they have left their current careers to start their own business. It’s amazing, so well done and thank you to everyone that has put their faith in me and purchased my tutorials.
2021 WILL be a more promising year for us all, it has to be. (Surely)
It’s not too late to hint to your other halves for vouchers for my online tutorials. Great Christmas gifts 🎁
I hope everyone has an amazing Christmas with friends and family. Once again thank you for your ongoing support xxx
Merry Christmas one and all 🎄
